Repeat prescriptions

Repeat medications will be dispensed as normal. However if you usually receive a two month supply, you may only get a one month supply for a while, just until things settle down. Certain medications, such as the contraceptive pill, come pre-packaged in two or three month supplies and you will receive these as normal.
If you require a repeat prescription, you can either phone the surgery (recommended) or leave the repeat request slip in the locked letterbox on the wall by the front door. Please do not come into the surgery. As staff restrict their movements around the practice to ensure they meet social distancing guidelines the surgeries are often short-staffed, so please give 48 hours notice of prescription needs.
When you wish to collect your medications, please phone the surgery to let us know you are on your way and we will arrange to give them to you.
Please give 48 hours notice of prescription needs.

GP clinics

There will be a doctor available for telephone consultations during surgery hours. If you need to speak to a doctor, please phone us to book an appointment as you normally would and we will arrange for the doctor to phone you back. The doctor will decide if a medical examination is necessary, however in most cases this will be unlikely

Nurse clinics
For the time being there will be no nurse clinics. If you see a nurse for regular ongoing treatment or monitoring of conditions, they will be in touch to discuss this with you.
