Food & Fuel Durness Spar, Richard Mackay & Sons (Facebook) at the road junction to the south also sells petrol and diesel with a 24-hour self-service pump. Spar is open 8:00-18:00 Monday to Friday ; 9:00 to 18:00 Saturday; 9:00 - 16:00 Sunday. .

Local transport The Durness Bus normally operates daily services between Durness and Lairg, a Saturday service to Inverness and Thurso and a Dial-a-Bus service for local people and walkers. Most services have been withdrawn or available only for essential workers for the duration of the COVID-19 shutdown. See their web site for up-to-date information. The Durness Bus generously sponsors these web pages. Cape Wrath Ferry The ferry will take you across the Kyle of Durness to the mini-bus service to Cape Wrath.
